Downtown Events
Our store is located on Main Street in Downtown Racine, where you will find dozens of art galleries, boutiques and shops, restaurants. Downtown has a world class art museum, a historical district and museums. We are located between Chicago and Milwaukee on the shore of Lake Michigan. We are within walking distance of the marina, Root River, Racine Zoo and the finest beach on all the Great Lakes.
Downtown Racine will begin its 2008 season of First Fridays events on Friday, April 4.
Downtown merchants will extend their hours and offer live music on the streets and in their stores. This free event is a great way to experience all that Downtown Racine has to offer. All activities start at 6 p.m.
Performing on Friday evening will be:

The Radio Active Squirrels Unplugged
Mike Derose (performing at Uncorkt)
Eddie Muniz & Bennit Carl Jazz Duo (at JavaVino)
Cheryl McCrary & The Heir-Born Praise Band (at Nesting)
Zachary Scot Johnson (at Dunn Bros)
Horse-drawn carriage rides through downtown will also be offered.
First Fridays are held the first Friday evening of each month from April through September. The remaining First Fridays dates for 2008 are:May 2, June 6, July 3 (Thursday), Aug. 1, and Sept. 5.
